MARK SCHWARZER SIGNED BALL RAFFLE!!
Firstly the club would like to thank the Crawley Family of the under 15s for donating a Mark Schwarzer signed ball that gave the club the oppurtunity to raffle off. The raffle managed to raise the club 400 dollars and the lucky winner being Aaron Carley of the under 18s. Special thanks goes to former NSL and Australian National Referee Con Diomis who was kind enough to draw the winner at half time of the Rangers vs Spirit super league clash.

TRIBUTE TO DAVE HIGSON
Mt Druitt Town Rangers would like to acknowledge the passing of our first grade coach Dave Higson – 58 Years old. Dave leaves behind his wife, Hilly, a son and daughter, William and Nicole, 4 grand children with a 5th one on the way.
Dave passed away on Friday afternoon after a long battle with cancer and the last time he was on this sideline was just a fortnight ago and he was determined to beat his disease to the end.
This shows the true character of the man that we all know and many of his old friends here today would agree “that he was a man, much loved by his a family but a determined individual”.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers dedicate this season to this mans tenacity to fight to the end as we fight on without him.
Thank you to all youth league players and parents who attended the minutes silence on Sunday to remember this great man.
Reminders
ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND PARENTS AND PLAYERS THAT WE ARE A WEEKS OUT FROM THE SEASON, AND ITS KEY TO NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE THINKING OF WEARING SKINS DURING THE SEASON YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE 'GREEN SKINS' AS SOCCERNSW RULES STATE THAT PLAYERS MUST HAVE MATCHING UNDERSHORTS TO THE PLAYING SHORTS. AS WE WEAR GREEN MATCH SHORTS YOU CAN ONLY WEAR GREEN SKINS OR UNDERSHORTS.
Referees have the power and have in the past told players to leave the field to remove the different coloured undershorts. Also the knees can not be covered at any time by any undergarments, so you can only wear the shorts version not the long pants undergarments.
If you already have black or other coloured skins they are fine for training.
