A big thanks to central coast lightning football club, penrith fc, and colo football club for making themselves available for trial games on such short notice. A day of very nice football that was enjoyed by all helping the rangers boys prepare for the 2010 kick off in 2 weeks time. Even though the results didnt all go our way. 13s-0-3, 14s 1-3, 15s 1-5 (vs CCL) 16s 1-2 (pfc 17s) 18s 5-2 (colo 18s). Next weeks see the youth league teams go up against tough super youth side Dulwich Hill which is the final trial before we kick off the following week in round 1 against hurstville city.
Also tough battles for our seniors against fellow super league opponents, macarthur rams, in their two trial matches which saw a injury struck first grade going down 2-0, and 20s went down by the same scoreline prior to that. Good hit out as our seniors prepare for their round 1 battle against pcyc parramatta eagles.

ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND PARENTS AND PLAYERS THAT WE ARE A WEEKS OUT FROM THE SEASON, AND ITS KEY TO NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE THINKING OF WEARING SKINS DURING THE SEASON YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE 'GREEN SKINS' AS SOCCERNSW RULES STATE THAT PLAYERS MUST HAVE MATCHING UNDERSHORTS TO THE PLAYING SHORTS. AS WE WEAR GREEN MATCH SHORTS YOU CAN ONLY WEAR GREEN SKINS OR UNDERSHORTS.
Referees have the power and have in the past told players to leave the field to remove the different coloured undershorts. Also the knees can not be covered at any time by any undergarments, so you can only wear the shorts version not the long pants undergarments.
If you already have black or other coloured skins they are fine for training.

Our 2010 youth league gear has arrived and some more is still to come by next week, players will be recieving their 2010 playing gear very soon. Just to remind what they will be recieving. They will recieve a kitbag, training ball, Match day shorts and socks, training shirt, shorts and socks, THEIR OWN drink bottle, and a full tracksuit top and bottom. Unfortunently due to some extreme difficulties in ordering our we had to change the original clothing that was shown on the fitting day, very are as dissapointed as you are but we have easily changed over to a more reliable brand that will arrive on time and is just as good. DATE AND TIME FOR GEAR PRESENTATION TBA.........
Below is our tracksuit and training gear we will be wearing in 2010......

Due to very heavy rain, the fields have been covered with water and the ranger boys have been unable to train on the park. This hasnt stopped them from working hard in their pre-season. See Photogallery for more.

Dear Players and Parents
As we prepare for the up and coming season on behalf of the committee of the Mt Druitt Town Rangers Soccer Club, I would like to
welcome all players and their families to the Club for the 2010 season.
Here at Mt Druitt Town we pride ourselves in the development of Youth League players to help them achieve whatever goals they have
set for themselves.
Mt Druitt Town also has a goal and that is to win the Club Championship. This is achieved by all players setting their sites on playing to
the best of their ability and not cutting any corners when it comes to training and commitment to the club.
The Club Championship is achieved by all five teams that play on a Youth League day gaining points from winning those games. Those
points are then collated in a pool for the Club Championship. You can keep up to date with results and tables on the Soccer NSW website:
This site will be the address for all updated information required by players. E.g. wet weather training changes etc.
We ask all parents to get involved throughout the year and the canteen and B-B-Q roster will be prepared over the Christmas break. Please
assist the committee to make it an enjoyable season for them also. Remember they are volunteers with most of them not having children playing
Youth League. They give up their time freely and enthusiastically and we ask that you do the same.
Don’t forget to support our sponsors and of course our Super League (senior teams). This will be our third year in Super League. This is an
expensive level of soccer and we could not compete without the businesses that assist us financially.
Should you have the ability to organise even a small sponsorship, we would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Whilst we endeavor to train in all weathers which will include using the Emerton Leisure Centre pools and indoor soccer courts, it is wise to keep in touch with the manager of your team to find out the plan should the grounds be closed or storms pending. I have included all contacts in this booklet.
Have a safe Xmas break, all the best to you and your family and we look forward to seeing you on Thursday 28th January for your 1st training session
in 2010.
